The experience

The day moves between four distinct landscapes. Belmont Estate, a 17th-century working plantation an hour from the capital, opens with tours of its organic farm, heritage museum, and cocoa processing facilities. The estate also runs a restaurant serving traditional Grenadian food. River Antoine Rum Distillery, operating since 1785 and home to the Caribbean's oldest functioning water mill, shows how the island's rum is made. Grand Etang National Park sits high in the interior mountains, where the rainforest shelters Mona monkeys, armadillos, opossums, and dozens of bird species among mahogany and gommier trees. Annandale Falls drops into a garden enclosed by ferns and soft vegetation, with an Interpretation Centre nearby.

The tour is fully customizable. You choose which stops matter most. Beyond the core four, you can add Leapers Hill, Welcome Rock, Sulphur Spring, the Grand Anse Craft & Spice Market (where local vendors sell spices, jewelry, and handmade goods), or House of Chocolate, a small museum and café featuring cocoa products made on-site. A live guide in English leads the day, and hotel pickup is included.

Is this one for you?Four hours is long enough to move through four distinct sites without rushing, but short enough to leave your morning or late afternoon free. If you want a deeper dive into any single stop (a longer hike in the rainforest, a full meal at Belmont Estate, or time browsing the craft market), you'll need to choose fewer stops or book a different tour length.
