The experience
Concord Falls sits at the end of a scenic coastal drive up Grenada's west side, where the Caribbean comes into view between lush green plantations. You swim in the natural waterfall pool and browse local vendors selling spices and souvenirs. From there the route climbs into the mountains toward Grand Etang National Park, gaining elevation until you reach the highest driving point on the island. The views open across the southern and western coasts, and you'll encounter the monkeys that live in the rainforest canopy before arriving at the Grand Etang Crater Lake itself.
The final stop is Clabony, a natural sulfur mud bath fed by warm spring water. A 15-minute off-road drive through farmland and plantation takes you partway up the mountain, then a moderate 7-minute hike leads to the sulfur pond. The warm water is meant to ease muscle tension and clear the skin. Your guide handles all driving and navigation, answers questions factually throughout the day, and the van is air-conditioned between stops.
