The Experience

The guide doesn't show up at your hotel until 6:45, which means you're standing in the lobby with your coffee getting cold, wondering if you booked the right company. Then the car pulls up, air-conditioned and clean, and you realize the early start is the whole point — you'll be inside Angkor Wat before the tour buses arrive.
