  • Snorkel at Columbia Reef
  • Swim and relax at El Cielo and El Cielito
  • Enjoy fresh lunch aboard
  • Use open bar and onboard amenities

The Experience

Nemo leaves from Marina ASIPONA/FONATUR and heads south along Cozumel's shoreline, passing Chankanaab's coastline as it moves toward the Marine Park. The boat is a working catamaran—large open deck, shaded areas, an air-conditioned indoor salon, separate bathrooms, a freshwater shower—so there's room to move around between snorkeling stops. Because the charter is private, the captain adjusts the route and timing around what your group wants: more time at a particular reef, extra swimming, or a longer stay at El Cielo if the water and weather favor it.

Snorkeling happens at reefs chosen by conditions and your interests. Palancar Reef and Colombia Reef are both major Marine Park sites; the guide leads you through the formations and points out the fish and coral. El Cielo and El Cielito are the signature stops—shallow turquoise water over white sand where starfish sit on the bottom and you can wade or float without much current. Snorkel gear and flotation vests are provided; if you want to stay on deck, the paddleboard, kayak and giant floating mat are there too.

Lunch is prepared aboard—guacamole with chips, fresh fruit, fish ceviche, grilled fish and shrimp, quesadillas, tacos, chicken fajitas and Mexican salsas. The open bar runs the whole charter: Tecate Light, Corona, Captain Morgan rum, tequila, margaritas, Cuba Libres and mixed drinks. Bottled water, Coca-Cola and juices are also available. All Marine Park fees and taxes are included in the price.
