The experience
If you've just arrived in Amman or have a short window to see Jordan's highlights, this tour solves the planning problem by bundling three major sites into two days without the fatigue of a group schedule. The private format means no fixed departure times beyond the initial pickup from your Amman hotel, no vehicle changes, and no waiting for other travelers. You move at your own pace through each stop, and your driver stays with you the whole way.
Day one starts with a drive south to Petra, where you have roughly five hours to walk the Siq, the narrow canyon approach, and reach the Treasury carved into rose-colored rock. From there you explore royal tombs, temples and other Nabatean monuments at your own speed. In the afternoon you continue to Wadi Rum, where a 2-hour Jeep safari takes you across red sand dunes and past sandstone formations that shift color as the light changes. You end the day with a traditional Zarb dinner and sleep in a Bedouin-style tent at a desert camp. Day two begins with breakfast, then a drive north to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, where you float in water so mineral-dense that your body stays on the surface without effort. You have free time to experience the therapeutic mud before heading back to Amman in the afternoon.
The vehicle is modern and air-conditioned throughout, with drinking water and WiFi on board. Your driver speaks English and knows the route well enough to answer questions and suggest photo stops without adding time to the schedule. One night's accommodation in the Bedouin camp, dinner and breakfast are included. Petra and Wadi Rum entry fees are paid on-site. Depending on which option you choose at checkout, you can upgrade to a Deluxe tent with better amenities, or add a Bubble Stay for a different overnight experience.

Top questions
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What exactly is the Siq at Petra?
The Siq is a narrow canyon carved through rose-colored sandstone that forms the main entrance to Petra's ancient city. You walk through it for roughly 15 minutes before the Treasury, the site's most famous carved facade, comes into view at the far end.
How much time do I actually spend exploring Petra on day one?
You have approximately five hours at Petra to walk the Siq, see the Treasury, and explore the royal tombs and temples scattered across the site. The pace is yours. Some travelers spend the full time hiking to the Monastery, while others focus on the main monuments near the entrance.
What happens during the Wadi Rum Jeep safari?
A 2-hour 4x4 Jeep tour takes you across red sand dunes, past towering sandstone mountains and natural rock formations that are unique to Wadi Rum's desert landscape. The driver chooses the route based on light and conditions, and you stop for photos and to take in the views.
Can I really float in the Dead Sea without swimming?
Yes. The Dead Sea's water is so mineral-rich that your body floats on the surface naturally, even if you don't know how to swim. You have free time to float and apply the therapeutic mud. The mineral content makes sinking nearly impossible.
Do I need to bring my own towel and swimsuit?
Bring your own swimsuit and towel. The tour does not include towels or robes at the Dead Sea, though you can rent them on-site for a small fee if needed.
Is the Bedouin camp tent comfortable for sleeping?
The standard option is a classic Bedouin-style tent with basic furnishings and a BBQ dinner included. If you prefer more comfort, you can choose the Deluxe tent option at checkout, which offers better amenities while keeping the same desert camp experience.
