The experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel or airport, then heads to an active Bollywood shooting studio. You'll walk onto a live set where filming is underway, watch technicians at work, and see behind-the-scenes activity of movie or serial production. Depending on what's shooting that day, you might photograph an actor on set: permission is given on the spot. The studios sit at distance from downtown Mumbai, so travel time is built into the morning.

After the studio, you move to a mini Bollywood Museum, then into an air-conditioned dance hall decorated in Bollywood style. Professional dancers perform 3 to 4 live Bollywood dance shows. Next comes the dubbing studio, where a technician helps you record your own favorite song. You leave with a piece of it. Lunch is included during the tour.
