The experience

Your guide picks you up from your accommodation in Nice and drives toward the coast via the Moyenne Corniche, stopping first at Villefranche-sur-Mer to see the bay's colors and Cap Ferrat with its Mediterranean-facing luxury homes. The route then climbs to Eze, a medieval village perched on a summit, where you walk its narrow streets and visit the Exotique Garden for views across the French Riviera. A perfume factory visit is available here, the region's historic industry, or you can spend the time exploring the village instead.

Monaco and Monte-Carlo fill the afternoon. You have free time in the old town to photograph the Prince's Palace, watch the guards, and visit the cathedral where Prince Rainier and Princess Grace Kelly were married. At Monte-Carlo, you'll see the Casino Square, the Hotel de Paris, and the luxury boutiques and sports cars the principality is known for. The tour includes a complete drive of the Formula 1 circuit, following the exact route the Grand Prix cars take each year through the heart of Monaco.

The full day runs eight to nine hours. Transport in a recent, comfortable vehicle and your guide's commentary throughout are included. Food and drinks are not. If you want to enter the Casino, that's arranged separately at your request.
