The experience

The tour starts with scenic views over Nice, the Bay of Angels, Villefranche and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat before heading east along the coast. An air-conditioned minibus seats up to eight passengers, and your guide handles the driving and narration throughout. You'll stop first in Eze, a medieval village perched above the sea, where you walk through narrow streets and visit the Fragonard perfume factory with a tasting of local specialties.

In Monaco, you're dropped at Le Rocher, the old town's heart, where you see the cathedral where Grace Kelly rests and walk Prince's Palace Square. The afternoon tour gives you longer to explore this section. From there, the route takes you around the Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit so you can see the famous turns and barriers from street level, then continues to Monte Carlo to walk around Place du Casino and the surrounding luxury neighborhood. The whole loop returns you to Nice by early evening or early afternoon, depending on which departure you choose.

Traffic can be heavy in high season, especially along the coast, so the schedule may shift. The tour does not run during the Monaco Grand Prix. Lunch is not included, though you'll have time to eat in Eze or Monte Carlo if you want to add that on your own. Children from age 4 are welcome. Younger children cannot join.
