The experience

Hotel pickup in an air-conditioned vehicle gets you to the marina in Sharm El Sheikh, where you board a modern yacht for the cruise into the Red Sea. The boat carries you through turquoise water to Ras Mohamed National Park at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula: a site known for the density and color of its coral reefs. Your snorkeling guide enters the water with you, pointing out tropical fish, sea turtles and the coral formations themselves. The reef here sits in crystal-clear water, so the visibility is the constraint that decides how much you see, not the depth or the distance from shore.
