The experience

The boat leaves your hotel at 8:30 am and heads toward Ras Mohammed National Park, where the shallow Gulf of Suez meets the deep Gulf of Aqaba. A collision of water that draws over 1,000 tropical fish species and more than 170 coral varieties into a narrow band. You'll stop at four different sites across the park and White Island, hitting the water to snorkel at each one. The first stop includes an introductory dive if you want to try it. The rest are snorkeling-only unless you've booked extra dives beforehand.

A guide who speaks English (and Spanish, Italian, German or two other languages) stays with the group throughout. Lunch and soft drinks come with the day. Snorkeling equipment is available to rent on the boat. The return to your hotel happens around 5:00 pm, giving you the afternoon and evening free.

Children from age 1 can join, and the activity suits all fitness levels. If you want to add two or three extra dives beyond the intro dive, you can request them when you book. They're optional and priced separately.
