The experience

The day starts with pickup from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and a boat ride out to Ras Mohamed National Park, where the water clarity and coral health make the reef impossible to miss. You'll have 45 minutes in the water with a certified snorkeling or diving instructor, moving through areas where sea turtles, dolphins and schools of reef fish are common sights. The yacht itself carries the amenities that make a full day on the water comfortable: shaded lounges, a buffet lunch, hot and cold drinks, and bathrooms and shower facilities onboard.

The second snorkeling stop is White Island, a sandbar in the middle of the Red Sea where the shallow water and white sand create a different underwater landscape from the first site. You'll have another 45 minutes to explore before heading back to the yacht for the return journey to Sharm el Sheikh. The guide stays with you both times, pointing out marine life and keeping the group safe.

You choose your gear setup at checkout: snorkeling equipment included, or bringing your own and renting only a mask and fins. If you want to try diving instead of snorkeling on one of the stops, that option is available too. The boat accommodates small groups, which means you're not competing for space or the guide's attention with dozens of other travelers.
