The experience
You arrive at your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh with a free afternoon or morning, and the boat picks you up in an air-conditioned vehicle. The 8-hour trip departs for Ras Mohammed National Park, one of the Red Sea's top destinations for reef life. Once onboard, you move between two or three snorkeling stops at protected coral reef locations. The boat stays anchored while you enter the water with provided equipment and swim directly into the site. Visibility is clear, and the coral gardens and marine life are the draw. You control your time in the water and your depth.
Diving is optional and happens at the same stops. Beginners can book a guided intro dive with instructors who teach you underwater. Certified divers choose one or two dives depending on which option you selected at checkout. All equipment is provided. Between stops, you rest on a spacious, comfortable boat, take in the Red Sea views, and eat lunch and soft drinks served onboard. The crew focuses on safety and comfort throughout.
White Island is the final stop: a break from the water with soft white sand and shallow turquoise shallows where you can wade or swim at your own pace. The boat then returns to Sharm el Sheikh, and hotel drop-off is included. National Park fees are paid on site by cash or card.

Can I snorkel and dive on the same trip if my friends want different things?
Yes. The trip is designed for mixed groups, so some people snorkel while others do intro dives or certified dives at the same reef stops. Everyone travels on the same boat and eats lunch together.
What are the snorkeling stops like at Ras Mohammed?
Ras Mohammed National Park has selected reef sites with clear visibility, vibrant coral gardens, and active marine life. You enter the water from the boat and swim at the reef at your own pace. The sites are protected, so the coral and fish populations are healthy and abundant.
Is White Island just a beach, or can I snorkel there too?
White Island is a relaxation stop with soft white sand and shallow turquoise water. You can wade, swim, or rest on the sand. It is not a structured snorkeling site like the reef stops, but the water is clear and calm.
What happens if I have never dived before but want to try it?
Book the intro diving option. A professional instructor teaches you underwater at one of the reef stops, so you learn the basics and explore a protected site with guidance. No certification is required.
