The Experience

This is not a slow morning — it's a full day compressed into one departure and one return, which is why the early pickup matters.

After landing in Cairo, the first stop is the Egyptian Museum, where you'll spend two hours with your guide moving through rooms of artifacts that most people only read about. You'll see Tutankhamen's solid-gold mask, the sarcophagi and papyri, jewelry from tombs, and objects that survived millennia in the desert. The guide explains what each piece meant, who buried it and why — the kind of detail that makes the objects feel less like museum cases and more like evidence of actual lives. Lunch comes after, at a local restaurant, and then you head to the Giza Plateau itself.
