The Experience

I stepped out of the van and there they were—the Giza Pyramids, just sitting in the haze like it was no big deal. I wandered off by myself near the end, just looking out a window at the pyramids across the city haze. You could hear a bit of traffic outside, but mostly it was quiet except for distant voices echoing through marble halls.
