The experience

The day starts with a drive across the ANZAC Bridge toward Katoomba, where you'll see the Three Sisters rock formation at Echo Point: the closest vantage point in the national park. From there, the tour moves into Scenic World, where you ride the Skyway, Railway and Cableway, each offering different angles into the valleys below. Between the rides, you walk through the rainforest on the valley floor, seeing the Jamison and Megalong valleys open up as you move through the trees.

After Scenic World, the group stops in a quaint village in the Blue Mountains where you can wander through boutique shops or grab lunch at a cafe (at your own expense unless you've chosen the all-inclusive option with chef-prepared lunch). Then it's on to Sydney Zoo, a large collection of Australian animals (kangaroos, wombats, koalas) alongside international species. The tour concludes with a ferry ride from Sydney Zoo back to Circular Quay, arriving around 5pm.

The group stays under 20 people, and a professional local guide and driver handle the route and timing. National park fees are included, so there's no surprise cost when you arrive.
