The experience

You're picked up from your hotel in Marrakech (or meet near Hotel Islane if that's easier) and driven out to the Agafay Desert. The ride itself gives you a first look at the landscape: the terrain shifts as you leave the city behind. Once you arrive, you get geared up for the quad biking portion. This is where you take the controls: you're not watching from a seat, you're operating the machine across the desert trails and dunes yourself. The guide leads the way and sets the pace, so even if you've never ridden before, the route is manageable.

After the quad biking, the rhythm changes completely. You move to a camel for a trek through the same desert, but at a walking pace.
