The Experience

You spend the first hour on a quad bike cutting across the stony dunes of Agafay Desert, just outside Marrakech—close enough to avoid the long drive to the Sahara but far enough to feel genuinely remote. Two riders share each quad, so if you're traveling with someone, you're on the same machine; if you're solo, you pair with another guest. The terrain is rugged and open, and the guide navigates you through the landscape while pointing out the geography as you ride.

After the quad section, you switch to camel for the second half of the afternoon. As night falls, you move into a traditional nomadic tent for a three-course Moroccan dinner—slow-cooked tagines and local specialties prepared by desert chefs. The evening doesn't end with food; a fire show, belly dancing, and live Gnawa music fill the tent under the open sky. Transport with air conditioning is included, as is pickup and drop-off from your hotel. The whole experience runs five to six hours from start to finish.
