How do you get a boat to yourself without chartering a superyacht? Book this private tour and you get the boat, a professional crew, and the route. Everything else is yours to shape. The boat leaves Mgarr Harbour, a picturesque anchorage ringed by hills, and heads straight for the Crystal Lagoon in Comino. The water there is turquoise and clear enough to see the bottom. You'll have time to swim, snorkel, cliff dive if you want, and explore the caves that cut into the shoreline. Snorkeling equipment is on board, along with life jackets and safety gear.

From Comino the route takes you to the Blue Lagoon, the lagoon most people come to Malta to see. Then you stop at San Niklaw Bay on Comino's far side (a smaller, quieter anchorage) before the boat navigates into Santa Maria caves along the coast. These are limestone formations carved by water over centuries. Your guide will point out the geology and the history as you glide through. You get another swim stop here before heading back to Mgarr Harbour. The whole outing runs 3 to 4 hours depending on which option you choose. Onboard there's an ice box for your food and drinks, a Bluetooth speaker, USB charging, and on the 4-hour tour, a toilet and shower.

The boat can hold up to 22 people on the largest option, but you're also free to book a smaller version: 3 hours for up to 8 people, or 4 hours for up to 9. If the weather turns rough, the crew will adapt the route before you leave to keep everyone safe and still get you out on the water. The itinerary itself is flexible.
