The Experience

I stepped onto the teak deck of Nushen in Senglea, shoes off, toes already picking up that faint salty stickiness you get near the sea. Our skipper, Martin, greeted us with this easy smile — he’d clearly done this a hundred times but still seemed genuinely happy to see us. There were just five of us plus him, so it felt more like joining someone’s day out than a tour.
