You contact the guide in advance and decide which spots matter to you: Sensoji Temple and its shopping streets, the Meiji Shrine, Shibuya Crossing, Harajuku's pop culture, Ginza, the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower, Hama Rikyu Gardens, or Tokyo Skytree (admission extra). The guide, who knows Tokyo's neighborhoods in depth, builds an efficient route that connects them by metro and on foot. A 4-hour tour covers 2 to 3 spots; 6 hours fits 3 to 4; a full 8-hour day reaches 4 to 5. The route is yours to shape, not a fixed itinerary everyone follows.

Hotel pickup in Tokyo is included. You can also arrange your own meeting point. If you want a private vehicle instead of public transit, that's an optional upgrade. It gives you door-to-door comfort and the ability to move between neighborhoods without waiting for trains. The guide speaks English and handles navigation, timing and local context. You walk a moderate amount and should wear comfortable shoes. The tour runs rain or shine.

Flexible start times let you choose an early 7am departure (useful for jet lag) or a later slot that suits your schedule. Meals and transport fares are on you unless you've added the private car option, which covers those costs for both you and the guide.
