The chef meets you at your hotel, drives you to the 19th-century residence on the terrace overlooking the gulf, and you start with the dough—kneading real Neapolitan pizza by hand, then moving to fresh pasta. The kitchen is set up so you work alongside the chef, not watching from the side.

The menu builds as you cook: pizza and calzones go into a 250-year-old wood oven; Caprese ravioli gets filled with mozzarella, ricotta and parmesan; tiramisu comes together with limoncello. Between the cooking and the tasting, there's a demonstration of how to make limoncello using the old Sorrento recipe. You taste everything with local wines and limoncello, and the meal is included—you're not paying extra for what you've made.
