The experience
You arrive at a Cesarina's home in Arezzo for a three-hour hands-on cooking class. After an Italian aperitivo of prosecco and nibbles, your host walks you through rolling 'sfoglia', fresh pasta dough, by hand, then teaches you how to shape and fill two different pasta types, one stuffed and one fresh. Everything is made from scratch in the kitchen, and you taste each dish as soon as it's ready. The class stays under twelve people, so there's room to ask questions and watch closely as the Cesarina shares family cooking secrets.
Tiramisu comes next. You learn the layers and technique for this iconic Italian dessert, then taste your own version. Throughout the class, water, wine and coffee are available. You leave with an official Le Cesarine apron and the muscle memory of how to roll pasta dough: the kind of skill that sticks.

- Italian aperitivo with prosecco and nibbles.
