The experience

The pickup happens early. Your driver arrives at your Ubud or Kuta hotel while most of the island is still asleep, and you're already in an air-conditioned vehicle heading toward Mount Batur's base. The road winds through Kintamani's quiet landscape. You'll catch glimpses of it on the way, but the real focus is ahead.
