The Experience
We were already sweating a little by the time our guide pulled up outside the hotel—Accra mornings are warm, but not yet that heavy midday heat. First stop was the E.B. We wandered through streets lined with faded colonial buildings; some painted wild colors, others crumbling but beautiful in their own way. A drummer waved us over for a quick lesson—I was hopeless but it didn’t matter.
