The Experience
The pass cuts the math out of London sightseeing. Instead of buying individual tickets to each attraction, which adds up fast, you load your pass with the number of credits you want and walk into any participating venue without a second transaction. The Go City app shows you hours, entry requirements and tips for every site before you go, so you can plan which attractions matter most to you. A child from age 5 can use the pass alongside an adult's.
Some attractions need advance booking through the app, particularly The Shard, where daytime slots book up and the last entry is 5:15pm. When you do visit The Shard, your pass includes the indoor viewing gallery, the open-air Skydeck on the 72nd floor, a panoramic guide and four digital photos. Other experiences like the Thames River hop-on hop-off cruise let you board at Westminster, sail past the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge, and hop off at four stops down to Greenwich on a schedule that runs every 40 minutes. The two-day Big Bus hop-on hop-off tour works the same way. You stay on to hear the onboard guide's commentary or jump off to explore closer and catch the next bus.
Your pass is valid for a full year from purchase, so there's no rush to book your first attraction. Once you do, you have 30 days to use your remaining credits. Public transport runs near all the sites, and the app syncs to your phone the moment you order, so you can start planning immediately.
What’s included
- One digital credits package for entry to your chosen 2–7 attractions.
- Go City app with hours, entry requirements and planning tools for all 75+ sites (also available as a PDF guide).

Is this one for you?Choose the 2-choice or 3-choice pass if you want to focus on the biggest landmarks like Tower of London, The Shard and Westminster Abbey without committing to a full week of sightseeing. Pick the 5, 6 or 7-choice pass if you're staying longer and want to mix major sites with museums, palaces, gardens and river cruises: the larger pass spreads the cost across more attractions and saves the most money.

Can I visit the same attraction twice with my London Explorer Pass?
Each attraction can only be visited once per pass, so you'll want to choose your seven stops carefully or pick a smaller pass if you're not sure which sites matter most to you.
What happens if I book The Shard and can't make my time slot?
The Shard requires advance reservation through the Go City app, and daytime visits are the only option available with the pass: the latest booking window closes at 5:15pm. Check the app for available times before you commit.
Do I need to pay for transport between the attractions?
Transport to and from the attractions is not included with the pass, though public transportation options run near all the sites. Some attractions may offer additional upgrades directly at the venue if you want extras like a guided tour or special access.
How long do I have to use all my credits once I start?
Your pass activates on your first attraction visit and remains valid for 30 days after that, giving you a month to redeem all your remaining credits.
What is the Cutty Sark and why is it on the pass?
The Cutty Sark is the last surviving tea clipper in the world, a historic sailing ship now part of Royal Museums Greenwich. You'll explore what life was like aboard the vessel and learn about its record as the fastest ship of its era.
Can children use the London Explorer Pass?
Children are welcome from age 5 and can use the pass to visit attractions alongside adults, though some venues may have their own age policies or restrictions.
