The experience
This is not a demonstration. You arrive at a local home in Buenos Aires, and from the moment you step into the kitchen, you're making each dish yourself. The host walks you through handcrafted beef empanadas filled with seasoned beef, onions, paprika and olives. You shape and fill them by hand. Then you move to the main course: a perfectly seared grass-fed ribeye with chimichurri, paired with lemon and rosemary roasted potatoes. The final dish is a silky dulce de leche and rum semifreddo, Argentina's iconic caramel layered into a creamy frozen dessert. Every guest prepares every component, which means you're learning technique while actually cooking, not watching someone else do it.
Once everything is ready, you sit down together to eat what you made, with carefully selected Argentine wine poured throughout the meal. The menu can shift based on seasonal ingredients and adapts to any dietary preferences you mention at booking: vegetarian options are available. Light refreshments and snacks are provided as you cook, so you're not working on an empty stomach. The whole experience takes about three and a half hours, and children are welcome when accompanied by an adult. You'll get the address after you book. Just ring the doorbell when you arrive. Bring nothing. The host provides everything you need.
The class is hosted in English and Spanish, so language is not a barrier. This is designed as an intimate experience for small groups (just you and whoever you bring), which means the host can adjust pacing and focus to what your group wants to learn. It's backed by over 700 five-star reviews from people who've done it, and the appeal is clear: you leave with a skill, a meal you cooked yourself, and a memory of cooking in someone's home rather than in a commercial kitchen.

What exactly do I cook in this class?
