Buenos Aires Tango Lesson: Learn from a Pro Dancer
Sixty minutes learning the embrace, the walk, and the ocho from someone who dances tango for a living
A private tango lesson in Buenos Aires with a professional dancer in a studio located close to your hotel. You'll learn the abrazo (the tango embrace), the walk, the basic step, the ocho, and how to move on the dance floor, all adapted to your level. The studio location is arranged after booking based on which neighborhood you're staying in — Downtown, Palermo, or elsewhere — so travel time stays short. All levels welcome, including families with children from age 12.
The Experience
Your instructor is a professional Buenos Aires tango dancer — someone who has dedicated their life to this art and brings genuine passion to every lesson. In 60 minutes, they'll teach you the fundamentals the way tango is meant to be learned: the abrazo (the tango embrace), the walk, the basic step, the ocho, and how to move on the dance floor. Everything is adapted to your level, whether you've never danced before or want to refine your technique. Couples, solo travelers, groups of friends, and families with kids all work with the same instructor.
The studio is arranged after you book, based on which area you're staying in — Downtown, Palermo, or another neighborhood — so it's as close as possible to your hotel and you're not traveling across the city for a lesson. The exact location gets emailed to you once the booking is confirmed. Comfortable shoes are all you need to bring. The lesson includes all fees and taxes, and public transportation options are available nearby if you need them.
