A beginner scuba diving course in Lanzarote with two supervised dives (one to 5 meters in shallow, calm water and a second to 12 meters) plus instruction in equipment, safety and underwater communication. The course runs about 5 hours and includes all gear, transport from your pickup point, water and a snack. Guides speak English, Spanish, French and German. Children from age 10 are welcome.

The experience

What does it feel like to breathe underwater? That's the question this course answers. You start with a detailed briefing on how the equipment works, safety procedures, and how to signal your instructor if something feels wrong. Then you gear up and head into the ocean. The first dive stays shallow, a maximum of 5 meters, in calm water where you'll practice the basics and get used to the sensation of breathing through a regulator while your instructor watches close by. It's not a demonstration. You're the one doing it.

After you surface and catch your breath, there's a short break to relax and talk through what you just did. Then you're back in the water for the second dive, this time reaching down to 12 meters. By now the equipment feels less foreign, and you can focus on the deeper experience. The whole course takes about 5 hours from start to finish. Transport picks you up, all the scuba gear is provided, and you get water and a snack between dives.

The course is built for people who have never dived before but want more than a single shallow plunge: two real dives, two different depths, and actual instruction in how to move safely underwater. Your guide speaks English, Spanish, French or German, and children from age 10 can join. If you have concerns about your health (spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular issues), check with the operator before booking.
