The experience
You start on shore with a theory briefing and safety introduction, learning how to equalize pressure, read underwater signs and operate your regulator and buoyancy compensator. An experienced diving instructor walks you through it all in a relaxed setting, then you practice in the shallow water area: first on the surface, then your first fin strokes below. The whole setup is built around one principle: you are never alone and never rushed.
The dive itself happens in a quiet sheltered bay at low depth, and you stay underwater for roughly 25–30 minutes with your instructor right there. Easy beach access means no boat ride or complicated logistics. You walk in and get started. All diving equipment is included, and the operator takes photos during the dive so you have something to take home.
A guide in English, Spanish or German leads the session, and pickup from your accommodation is included. The whole outing (theory, practice, the dive and getting back) runs about three hours.

Is this one for you?Book this if you want your first dive to be completely private: one instructor, one student, no group. The one-on-one format means you set the pace and get undivided attention, which is why it works for people trying diving for the first time and anyone who wants to learn without an audience.

Top questions
What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and German.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What do I actually learn in the theory part before I get in the water?
The theory session covers pressure equalization (how to clear your ears as you descend), underwater hand signals so you can communicate with your instructor, and how to use your regulator and buoyancy compensator. The instructor teaches these basics in a relaxed atmosphere before you ever enter the water.
How deep do you go on the first dive?
The dive happens at low depth in a sheltered bay, designed so you can focus on getting comfortable with the equipment and your breathing rather than managing a steep descent. The pace is slow and there is no pressure to go deeper than feels right.
What if I have never worn diving equipment before?
This introductory program is built for people with no previous diving experience. You practice using the regulator and buoyancy compensator in shallow water first, so you are familiar with how they work before you make your first dive. The one-on-one format with a certified instructor means you get personal attention every step of the way.
Do I need to arrange my own transport to the dive site?
Pickup from your accommodation is included. You just need to be ready at the agreed time, and the operator handles getting you to the beach where the dive starts.
Will I get photos from the dive?
Yes, photos are included. The instructor or operator photographs you during the dive so you have memories to take away.
