You get picked up from your Doha hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and driven out to the desert. Once you arrive, the guide walks you through the quad bike (either a 250cc ATV or a 1000cc Polaris buggy, depending on which you chose at checkout), and you spend about an hour riding across the open dunes. The guide leads the route and sets the pace. You're operating the machine but not navigating on your own.

After the quad riding, the day shifts through a sequence of different moments. A camel ride takes you across the landscape at a slower pace, then the guide drives the group vehicle through the Sealine Dunes for dune bashing. The driver handles the 4x4 while you experience the adrenaline of the terrain. You'll stop for photos at a scenic overlook of the golden sands, then try sandboarding, where you glide down the dunes on a board. The route finishes at the Inland Sea, the unusual spot where the desert meets the water, giving you time to walk around and take in the views before heading back to Doha.
