The experience

Three hours total, starting with hotel pickup roughly 35 minutes to an hour before your ride time depending on where you're staying. You'll check in at Cactus Tours Park, get a safety briefing about the terrain and the ATV itself, then head out to Migriño Beach: a stretch of golden sand and towering dunes that runs for miles along the coast. This is where you take the controls. You ride for an hour across the beach, through dunes and up scenic hills, with the ocean as your backdrop. If you're there during whale season (winter months), you might spot humpback whales from the shore as you ride.

After the ATV portion, you move to the sky bike: an aerial bicycle that lifts you roughly 1,000 feet above the Pacific. The ride lasts about an hour and gives you a view of the coastline you can't get from ground level. It's a single or double bike depending on what you book, and the minimum height requirement is 1.20 meters (about 3 feet 11 inches) for both activities. Once you're back on solid ground, there's time to review your pictures before the tequila tasting: artisanal varieties that cap off the day before transportation back to your hotel.

Safety equipment is provided and required for both the ATV and sky bike. The guide speaks both English and Spanish, so commentary flows in whichever language works for your group.
