A morning of riding across golden sand and rocky trails, then time on camel at the water's edge.

ATV riding in Los Cabos combines a 2.5-hour adventure split between a fully automatic quad and a camel ride along Migriño Beach, with hotel pickup, a bilingual guide, safety gear and a tequila tasting included. The ATVs are automatic, so no gear shifting is needed. You'll ride into the desert and across the beach, then slow down for a camel encounter at the shoreline before finishing with a handmade burrito and tequila. Winter visitors may spot humpback whales in the distance.

The Experience

The day starts with hotel pickup and a drive to G-Force Adventures Park, where you'll get a safety briefing before climbing onto a fully automatic quad. The automatic transmission means you focus on steering and throttle instead of managing gears, which keeps the ride accessible whether you've operated an ATV before or not. From there, you head into the mountains and down to Migriño Beach, a stretch of golden sand backed by towering dunes and open to the Pacific.

You'll spend roughly an hour on the ATV, moving across both desert terrain and the beach itself. The route takes you through untouched landscape where the only sounds are the engine and the ocean. If you're riding in winter, humpback whales sometimes breach in the distance—a moment most visitors don't expect. As the afternoon light shifts, the sand and dunes take on deeper colors, and the ride becomes as much about the light as the speed.

After the ATV portion, you'll trade the quad for a camel and spend an hour riding along the shoreline. These are working animals, not a photo prop, and the pace is deliberate—a complete shift from the adrenaline of the ride. The camel walk gives you time to absorb the beach and take the kind of photos that actually capture the scale of the dunes behind you. When you're done, you'll head back to the park for a handmade super burrito, your choice of beverages, and a tequila tasting that closes out the afternoon. A bilingual guide stays with the group throughout, and water is provided.

Is this one for you?The ride demands a moderate level of physical fitness and comfort sitting upright on a moving vehicle for an hour—the ATV itself is stable and the pace is controlled, but it's not a passive experience. If you want adrenaline without the technical skill of manual transmission, or if you're looking to combine speed with a slower, more meditative moment on camel, this combo unlocks both in a single afternoon.

Top questions

Can I ride an ATV if I've never done it before?

Yes. The quads are fully automatic, so you don't shift gears—you control speed with the throttle and brake. G-Force Adventures designs the ride for all skill levels, and a safety briefing happens before you start.

What is Migriño Beach like?

Migriño Beach is a remote stretch of the Los Cabos coast known for golden sand, high dunes, and unobstructed views of the Pacific. It's less developed than other beaches in the area and offers the kind of open landscape where ATV riding and camel riding both feel like genuine escapes.

Will I see whales?

Humpback whales migrate through the waters off Los Cabos in winter months, and they sometimes breach in the distance from Migriño Beach. It's not guaranteed, but it happens often enough that winter visitors should watch for them.

What's included in the tequila tasting?

After the ride and camel encounter, you'll taste tequila and eat a handmade super burrito with your choice of refreshing beverages. The tasting is part of the experience, not an add-on.

How long does the whole thing take?

The experience runs 2.5 hours from start to finish, including the ATV ride, camel ride, meal and tasting. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, so add travel time depending on where you're staying.

What should I wear?

Wear sunscreen, jeans and comfortable shoes. Safety equipment—helmet and protective gear—is provided. The operator recommends dressing for sun exposure and sand, and avoiding loose clothing that could catch on the ATV.
