The experience

The tour picks you up from your hotel in Montego Bay and heads to Negril, starting at Old Fort Charles to see the history before moving to the beach itself. Seven Mile Beach is the first real stop, ranked among the world's most beautiful, and you'll have a few hours to walk the white sand, swim in the clear water, or try water sports if you want them. The guide stays with the group and can point out details along the way, but the beach time is yours to spend as you like.

Rick's Cafe sits on a cliff overlooking the water, and that's where you'll be when the sun drops. The cafe is famous for the cliff jump (optional, and only if you're comfortable with it), but most people come for the view and the moment itself. After sunset, the tour heads back to Montego Bay and your hotel. Because this is a private tour, you're not locked into a fixed schedule: if you want to leave the beach earlier or spend more time at Rick's, you can. A minimum of three people per booking is required.

The whole outing runs between five and seven hours depending on how you pace it. Dress for sun and water, and bring what you need for the beach: the tour operates regardless of weather.
