The experience

You're picked up from your hotel and driven along Negril's northern coastline to whichever three stops suit your day. The choice is yours: Seven Mile Beach for swimming and watersports (snorkeling, boating available for an extra fee), Rick's Café to watch performers leap 55 feet from overhanging trees into the water and catch the sunset, Blue Hole Mineral Spring about 30 minutes from Negril where you can jump or climb down a ladder into a 40-by-50-foot pool fed by naturally filtered mineral water 35 feet deep, or Time Square Shopping Mall for duty-free jewelry, Jamaican coffee, rum and souvenirs. Your driver knows the route and handles all the navigation.

The tour runs six to nine hours depending on which locations you pick and how long you linger. You get roughly two hours at Seven Mile Beach if you choose it: enough time to swim, sunbathe, take a walk on the sand, or try the reef snorkeling. At Blue Hole, lifeguards are on duty and there's a separate pool fed by the same mineral water if you want a gentler option than the cliff jump. Rick's Café fills up toward sunset, so timing matters if you want to see the divers and watch the light change over the water. The air-conditioned vehicle keeps you comfortable between stops, and your guide speaks English and knows which spots work best together.

Entry to Blue Hole Mineral Spring is not included in the tour price, so factor that in when you're choosing your three stops. The other locations (Seven Mile Beach, Rick's Café, and Time Square) are included. Watersports at the beach cost extra if you want them.
