The experience

The drive itself is part of the experience. The pairing is deliberate: the salt and fat of the food bring out flavors in the wine that you taste differently on their own. The wineries themselves vary depending on availability (the operator works with estates including Fattoria Montecchio, Casa Emma, San Michele a Torri and others), so the specific bottles and views change from one departure to the next.

The whole experience runs about five hours from start to return. A 9:00am tour gets you back by 1:45pm. A 2:30pm departure returns around 7:00pm. Luggage can stay on the bus if you're traveling between hotels, and vegetarian or gluten-free meals are available if you mention them when you book.
