Pizza-making class Milan: Learn Italian dough & baking
You knead the dough, shape it, top it, and bake your own pizza from scratch.
A hands-on pizza-making class in Milan where you prepare authentic Italian pizza under a professional pizzachef's instruction, learning dough technique, rising times and topping placement. You eat what you make plus gourmet pizzas the chef bakes, with wine, beer and soft drinks included. After you leave, you get free access to the chef's online video courses and direct support to make pizza at home.
The experience
The class runs about two and a half hours in a private location set up for lunch or dinner. You'll work through the full process: mixing and kneading the dough, understanding rising times, preparing toppings, and inserting them into the pizza before it goes into the oven. The pizzachef walks you through each step, teaching the techniques that separate Italian pizza from what you can improvise at home. You choose the flavors you want in your pizza. The chef also prepares gourmet versions for you to taste.
Drinks are all inclusive: Italian wine (red or white), craft beer, soft drinks and water flow throughout. You eat your pizza alongside the chef's creations, so you're tasting the standard you're aiming for. The class wraps with something most cooking classes don't offer: once you're home, you keep access to the chef's online Pizzaskill video courses and can message him with questions as you make your own pizza, from ingredient choice through the final bake.
The class is wheelchair accessible, and public transportation runs nearby. The chef offers instruction in English or Italian. Gluten-free lessons aren't possible in this kitchen, so let him know if that's a requirement before booking.
