The experience
The class starts in a garden where you'll pick the fresh vegetables and herbs you'll use to cook. Your instructor shares the techniques that define Sorrento cuisine: how to shape gnocchi, layer eggplant parmigiana, and build the layers of tiramisù. You're not watching a demonstration. You're doing the work yourself, learning the timing and the small adjustments that turn raw ingredients into the dishes locals cook at home.
Coffee, water, wine and limoncello are included, so you taste what you've made with the drinks that go with it. The guide speaks English or Italian, whichever suits you. If you eat vegetarian, the menu adapts to that. Children under 18 can attend the class but won't drink the wine. Infants can come if they sit on an adult's lap.
What’s included

What languages is the tour guided in?
Live guide in English and Italian.
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Youth (6 to 16 years); Child (2 to 5 years); Infant (under 2): free.
What dishes do I actually make during the four hours?
You prepare gnocchi alla sorrentina, eggplant parmigiana and tiramisù. Each one teaches you a different technique: rolling and shaping the gnocchi, layering and baking the eggplant, and building the no-bake dessert.
Do I pick the ingredients myself or does the instructor provide them?
You pick the fresh vegetables and herbs directly from the instructor's garden, then use them in the cooking. That's part of the class itself: learning what grows there and how to choose what's ready.
Is this class private or do I cook with other people?
The class is shared, so you'll cook alongside other travelers. The instructor guides the whole group through each dish at the same pace.
What happens after I finish cooking? Do I eat what I made?
Yes. You eat the dishes you've prepared, paired with wine, limoncello and coffee included in the class. It's the natural end to learning how to cook them.
