The experience
The boats are already lined up at Tanjung Benoa Beach when you arrive: jet skis idling, snorkeling gear laid out on the sand, instructors checking equipment. You don't have to figure out which activity goes first or how to get there. A driver picks you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned car, drops you at the beach, and the staff walks you through what's available. Seminyak water sports packages let you choose from snorkeling, parasailing, jet ski, banana boat, glass bottom boat, fly fish, seawalker, or diving, or mix a few together depending on how much time you have.
The jet ski runs with an instructor alongside you, no extra charge for that. Snorkeling includes the fins, mask, snorkel and a boat ride to the reef. Parasailing pulls you up behind a speedboat for a view that stretches across the bay. Everything else (the life jackets, the equipment, the safety briefing) is already factored in.
