The experience
You get picked up from your hotel and driven to Tanjung Benoa, where the water sports happen in sequence. An instructor guides you through the jet ski first, then you go parasailing (towed behind a boat while you're harnessed to a parachute), and finish the water portion with a banana boat ride. All three activities use provided equipment. The facility supplies lockers, towels, showers and changing rooms so you're not wet for the rest of the day.
After the water sports, you eat an Indonesian set-menu lunch at a Nusa Dua restaurant. Then the driver takes you to Bali Orchid Spa in Kuta, where you spend two hours in a Balinese-style spa room with a therapist. The spa sits in gardens with waterfalls. The treatment is a full massage and spa experience, not a quick rub-down. You're returned to your hotel at the end.
The whole package is private: no other guests share your vehicle or your time slots at the water sports center. An English or Malay-speaking guide travels with you. Children from age 9 can do the water sports. The upper age limit is 60. Bring sunscreen and a camera. A change of clothes helps since you'll be in and out of the water.
