The experience
The day starts with pickup from your Seminyak hotel at 8:30 AM and a drive to Tanjung Benoa, the center of water sports on Bali's coast. You'll do three activities there: parasailing (towed behind a boat while suspended from a parachute), jet ski (riding solo or with an instructor), and banana boat (a group ride on an inflatable tube). All equipment is safety-approved, and you wear a life jacket for every water activity. An instructor guides the jet ski if you need one, at no extra cost. After the water sports finish, you shower and change in the facility, then head to a restaurant in Nusa Dua for an Indonesian set menu lunch.
The afternoon shifts to Ubud's cultural sites. The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary spreads across 27 acres of jungle, gorge and Hindu temples, home to over 400 long-tailed macaques divided into four groups. You walk among them and the temple grounds. Next is Ubud Palace, the focal landmark of Ubud town, built in the 1800s and still kept by its heirs. It sits on the main road and shows well-preserved Balinese architecture and gardens. Then you stop at Tegalalang Rice Terrace, a high roadside viewpoint where the rice paddies drop away in dramatic tiers across the valley: a known photo spot with cafes and art kiosks nearby. The tour ends at Tegenungan Waterfall, a 20-meter drop on the Petanu river that draws both tourists and locals. You can hear and feel the force of the falling water.
The whole day runs 9 to 10 hours. You travel in an air-conditioned vehicle with your driver, who speaks English and acts as your guide. This is a private tour, meaning only your party rides in the vehicle, no other guests. Pickup is available from hotels across Seminyak, Sanur, Denpasar, Tanjung Benoa, Uluwatu, Jimbaran, Tuban, Kuta, Legian, Kerobokan and Canggu. The operator can arrange flexible timing if you request it.
Is this one for you?Book this if you want water sports (jet ski, parasailing, banana boat) in the morning and temple-and-forest exploration in the afternoon all in one day with your group alone in a private vehicle.
