The Experience

The day starts with hotel pickup and a drive to Bali Water Sport in Tanjung Benoa, where you'll spend the morning on three separate water activities. Jet ski lets you control the speed across open water; parasailing lifts you behind a boat for an aerial view of the coast; banana boat is a shared inflatable pulled at speed. All equipment—life jackets, boards, towels—is provided, and an instructor guides the jet ski activity at no extra cost. You'll shower and change in the facility before lunch at a restaurant.

After eating, the vehicle takes you inland to Ubud for the ATV portion. A safety briefing covers the quad bike controls and terrain, then you ride for two hours on a 250cc automatic machine through rice paddies, bamboo forest, river crossings, tunnels and traditional villages. The track includes both smooth stretches and technical climbs; instructors adjust the route to match your comfort level, whether you're a beginner or looking for challenge. The bikes are maintained and safety-approved, and you'll wear boots and use lockers for valuables.

Because this is a private tour, your group travels alone in an air-conditioned vehicle with no other passengers joining the activities or sharing the guide. Hotel pickup and drop-off cover Seminyak, Ubud, Sanur, Denpasar, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, Jimbaran, Tuban, Kuta, Legian, Kerobokan and Canggu. A vegetarian lunch option is available if you request it when booking.

Top questions

What's the difference between the tandem and single ATV rides?

Tandem riding puts two people on one 250cc quad bike, with a minimum age of 9 (children 9–11 must ride with an adult); single riding is one person per bike and requires a minimum age of 12. Both options cover the same two-hour route through rice fields, jungle and villages. Tandem bookings must be in pairs (2, 4, 6, 8 riders, etc.).

Do I need experience to ride the ATV?

No. The activity is suitable for all fitness levels. An instructor gives a full safety briefing before you ride and can adjust the terrain difficulty—smooth paths for beginners, technical slopes and climbs for those seeking more challenge. The bikes are automatic, so you don't shift gears.

What water sports will I actually do?

You'll ride a jet ski (guided by an instructor), go parasailing behind a boat, and ride a banana boat—an inflatable towed at speed. All three are separate activities at Bali Water Sport in Tanjung Benoa, and life jackets are provided for each one.

Is the lunch included, and can I choose what I eat?

Yes, an Indonesian set menu lunch is included at a restaurant after the water sports. Vegetarian options are available if you tell the operator when you book.

Which areas have hotel pickup?

Pickup and drop-off are included from hotels and villas in Seminyak, Ubud, Sanur, Denpasar, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, Jimbaran, Tuban, Kuta, Legian, Kerobokan and Canggu. The vehicle is air-conditioned and private to your group.

How long does the whole day take?

The full package runs seven to eight hours from pickup to drop-off, including the water sports, lunch break, travel time to Ubud and the two-hour ATV ride.
