The Experience

You arrive at a working vineyard spread across three Burgundy villages—Chablis, Saint-Bris and Irancy—where Clotilde Davenne and her team manage 30 hectares of small plots planted with different grape varieties and ages. The walk starts in the vines at the foot of the estate, where you learn how the terroir shapes what grows there and the history of the land itself. This is not a polished tour; it is an authentic setting where the winemaker shares what she has built since 1989.

After the vineyard, you move into the winery to see how the grapes become wine. The tasting follows, and you choose which of the five appellations you want to explore—Chablis, Saint-Bris, Irancy, Bourgogne or Crémant. The whole session runs 90 minutes and stays small enough that you can ask questions without raising your hand. The experience is designed as a friendly moment, not a formal lesson, so the pace lets you linger on what interests you.
