A guided tour of Château Rol Valentin vineyard and cellar in the heart of Saint-Emilion, ending with a tasting of three wines from the estate. The guide speaks English, Spanish or French and walks the group through the vineyard, winemaking facilities and aging vats before the tasting begins. Minimum age is 18. The experience runs about an hour.

The experience

The tour starts in the vineyard itself, where your guide explains how Saint-Emilion Grand Cru wines are grown and made on the family estate. You'll walk through the modern cellar and aging vat room to see the production process firsthand, then move to the tasting room where you sample three wines selected from the château's own production. Bottled water is provided throughout.

The estate sits in the Saint-Emilion hillsides, and the whole experience (vineyard walk, cellar tour and tasting) takes about an hour. Your guide is live and present for the entire group, explaining oenology and wine tasting techniques as you go. The minimum age is 18.
