Two riders share one snowmobile, and children under 15 travel in a heated sleigh behind the guide.

A 2-hour snowmobile safari in Levi, Lapland, where you ride across frozen lakes, open swamps and snowy forest trails with an English-speaking guide. The tour includes thermal clothing, hot berry juice and round-trip transfer from the meeting point. Drivers must be at least 18 with a valid B license brought in physical form; children aged 4–14 ride in a sleigh, and children over 140 cm can ride as passengers when paying adult price.

The Experience

You'll spend roughly 1 hour and 40 to 50 minutes actually riding, covering distance that depends on your group's skill level. Two adults share one snowmobile, though single riding is available for an extra charge. The guide leads the way and sets the pace, stopping for photos of the Arctic landscape and to serve hot berry juice—a traditional Lapland drink that cuts through the cold. Thermal overalls, boots and gloves are provided, so you don't need to bring winter gear beyond what you're already wearing.

Children aged 4 to 14 travel in a sleigh towed behind the guide's snowmobile when paying child price; kids 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the sleigh. Children taller than 140 cm can sit as passengers on a snowmobile if an adult pays full price for them. The driver of your snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and carry a physical driving license—copies, photos or digital versions won't be accepted under Finnish traffic law, and without it you won't be able to drive.

Meet 30 minutes before the safari starts. Round-trip transfer from the meeting point is included, and the guide speaks English; other languages are available on request. The route and duration may change if weather or snow conditions shift, or if the operator decides a change is needed for safety.
