A three-hour snowmobile safari around Levi Fell in Lapland takes you on trails through forests and open swamps, with a midway break at a cosy Lappish café for hot drinks and local snacks. Two adults ride one snowmobile (single riding available for an extra charge), and children aged 4–14 travel in a sleigh pulled by the guide. You must be at least 18 with a valid B driver's license to operate a snowmobile, and bring your physical license—copies and digital versions are not accepted. Weather and snow conditions may alter the route.

The Experience

The safari starts with a briefing and thermal gear setup, then you head out on trails that wind through snowy forests and across vast open swamps around Levi Fell. The driving time is approximately two hours and thirty minutes, though the exact distance depends on the group's riding skill. You'll see the landscape shift as you move through the Lapland wilderness, and if conditions allow, the route reaches the top of the fell for views across the region.

Midway through, you stop at a cosy traditional Lappish café or tent to warm up with hot coffee or tea and a local snack. This break gives you a chance to rest and take photos of the scenery you've covered. The thermal clothing—overall, boots and gloves—stays on you for the entire ride, so you stay warm even when stationary.

Children aged 4 to 14 paying the child price travel in a heated sleigh towed behind the guide's snowmobile; children over 140 cm can ride as a passenger on a snowmobile if paying the adult rate. You'll need to arrive 30 minutes before the start time, and if you plan to drive, bring your valid B driver's license in physical form—the operator cannot accept copies, photographs or digital versions. A self-liability waiver is available for an extra charge if you want to reduce the damage liability from €900 to €200 per accident.
