A snowmobile safari from Levi takes you onto forest trails around the resort for roughly two hours of riding, with hotel pickup, thermal clothing, a safety briefing and hot drinks included. You can ride as a passenger on a shared snowmobile, upgrade to your own machine, or travel in a guide-pulled sled if you don't hold a driver's license. Children under 15 ride in the sled behind the guide unless they meet the height and age requirements to ride as passengers.

The experience

The safari covers 20 to 30 kilometers of forest trails around Levi, with several stops built in so you can take in the snowy landscape. Two adults share one snowmobile by default, but you can upgrade to ride alone if you want your own machine and the control that comes with it. A professional guide leads the group and handles the safety briefing before you set out. All thermal gear (overalls, boots, gloves, woolen socks, a scarf and helmet) is provided, so you don't need to bring winter layers of your own.

If you don't have a valid driver's license, you can still go: you'll ride in a sledge pulled by the guide's snowmobile instead of operating your own machine. Children under 15 travel this way unless they're at least 140 centimeters tall and have booked at the adult price, in which case they can ride as passengers. The activity runs in cold weather and is subject to snow conditions. If the weather turns poor enough to cancel, you'll get an alternative date or a full refund.

Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, and hot drinks are served during the stops. The total time, two hours, includes transportation to and from the activity location, so factor that into your schedule.
