You board a small-group speedboat in Split and visit Trogir's UNESCO old town, then spend the afternoon snorkelling and swimming at the Blue Lagoon and Čiovo island. Wine and snorkelling gear are included, and the boat keeps moving between stops so you cover three islands without arranging transport or timing it yourself.
So you're standing on the dock in Split at eight in the morning, and the speedboat is already loaded — snorkelling gear stacked, cooler full of wine, and maybe eight other people max. The first stop is Trogir, fifteen minutes across the water, and it's not just a quick photo stop. The old city is UNESCO protected since 1997, one of the best-preserved Romanesque towns on the coast, and you get actual time to walk through it. The Kamerlengo fortress sits right there, the St. Lawrence Cathedral is impossible to miss, and if you're into 15th-century architecture, the St. Mark fortress is worth the climb.
Then you're back on the boat and heading to the Blue Lagoon — and yeah, the water really is that clear. You can see straight down while you're snorkelling, and the beach bar on the shore means you can float around, grab a drink, and just sit with the view of the islands without feeling rushed. The speedboat keeps the group small enough that it doesn't feel like a cattle run, and the captain knows exactly where to stop so you're not fighting for space in the water.
The last island is Čiovo, which has its own beach surrounded by pine trees and more beach bars. By then you've been in and out of the water a few times, had wine with lunch, and the remaining hours are mostly travel time back to Split — but honestly, after a day like that, you're ready to sit on the boat and watch the coastline go by. Snorkelling equipment, bottled water, and the wine are all included, so you're not buying anything extra once you're on the water.
Your day includes hotel pickup from Split, speedboat transport to Trogir, the UNESCO old town, snorkelling equipment with goggles, swimming time at the Blue Lagoon and Čiovo island, bottled wine, lunch, bottled water throughout the day, and all entry fees and taxes. Safety equipment is provided.
