You spend the morning walking Trogir's medieval streets and cathedral, then board a boat to the Blue Lagoon for swimming and snorkeling in turquoise water. Snorkeling gear, water, and insurance are included; the final stop rotates between Labadusa Bay (summer) and Maslinica village (cooler months) depending on the season. The whole half-day fits into a morning or early afternoon, leaving you time for the rest of Split.
Our boat captain, Marko, was already untying the lines when we arrived at the dock—he'd seen the weather forecast and wanted to leave early. That's the kind of thing you notice on a half-day tour: there's no padding, no waiting around. You're on the water within minutes, heading toward Trogir, which sits on its own small island about twenty minutes from Split. The town is a UNESCO-protected medieval maze of narrow cobbled streets, stone bridges, and the Romanesque Cathedral of St. Lawrence rising above the waterfront. You get maybe ninety minutes to walk it—enough to get lost in the right way, find a café tucked into a corner, and actually feel like you've been somewhere, not just photographed it.
After Trogir, the boat heads out to the Blue Lagoon, the part everyone's thinking about when they book. It sits between two islands—Drvenik Veli and Krknjaši—and the water really is that turquoise. You get snorkeling equipment included, so you can go down and look around, or you can just float and let the sun do its thing. The crew hands out bottled water, and there's enough space on the boat that it doesn't feel crowded. The final stop depends on the season: in summer, it's Labadusa Bay on Čiovo Island, a sheltered cove with pine trees and a beach bar if you want a drink. In cooler months, you go to Maslinica instead, a fishing village on Šolta with stone houses and a harbor where you can walk around and grab coffee. Either way, you're not rushed.
The whole thing runs about four to five hours from start to finish, which means you're back in Split by early afternoon. Insurance is included, so there's no paperwork surprise at the end. It's the kind of tour that works because it doesn't try to do too much—Trogir gets its moment, the water gets its moment, and you get time to actually be in both places instead of just collecting them.

Is this one for you?Pick this if you want to see both Trogir's history and swim in the Blue Lagoon without arranging separate transport or equipment—the boat and gear are sorted, and the half-day length means you're not committed to a full afternoon away from Split.
