The experience

The boat leaves with a 90-minute run to the Bisevo Blue Cave, where sunlight reflects through the sea and fills the entire cave in aquamarine blue. A local guide explains how the cave was discovered and what you're standing inside. From there the route turns back through the archipelago: a stop at Komiža, the Mama Mia filming town, then the southern side of Vis island where WWII military bunkers sit among caves and rock formations shaped by the sea.

Stiniva Cove comes next (voted the best European beach in 2016) followed by a longer swim and snorkeling stop at Budikovac, where the water turns turquoise over white pebble. On the way back you pass the Pakleni Islands, a panoramic run of the archipelago before the final stop in Hvar town, one of the Adriatic's most recognizable harbours. There's time there for lunch, a swim, sightseeing among the walls and cultural sites, or shopping before the return.

The speedboat is brand new with sun cover protection for all passengers and comfortable seats, not banana seats. Snorkeling equipment, Bluetooth music and insurance are included. The tour runs 10.5 hours total. You don't need to know how to swim. Safety equipment is provided for everyone.
