Private Sunset Sailing Split: 2 Hours on the Adriatic
Raise the sails and watch Split fade into the glow
A private two-hour sunset sailing cruise from Split on the Adriatic with a skipper, indigenous Croatian white wine, and return transport included. You are the only guests on the boat. The skipper raises the sails and navigates to wherever the winds are best, so the route shifts with the conditions rather than following a fixed path.
The Experience
Two hours is how long you spend on the water, and the boat leaves when you do — no schedule, no other passengers, no crowd. The skipper handles the sails while you stand on deck with a glass of Croatian white wine and watch the light drain from the sky over the Adriatic. Since there is no fixed destination, the route follows the wind instead. Some days that means sailing past the city waterfront; other days it takes you farther out along the coast. The point is the sail itself and the hour when the light turns gold.
When the two hours are done, you return to a marina — either the one where you started or a different one depending on where the boat is docked. If it is a different marina, the skipper arranges a five-minute drive back to your starting point at no extra cost. The whole thing — the wine, the transport, the skipper's knowledge of where to find the best wind — is included in the price.
What’s included
- A skipper who raises the sails and navigates the route.
- indigenous Croatian white wine throughout the cruise.
- return transport to your starting point if the boat docks elsewhere.
Operated by Marinero Sailing
Is this one for you?If you speak English or Croatian comfortably, the skipper's live commentary makes the sail richer — you hear why the boat is turning, what you are looking at on the coast, and the story of the wind. If you need the guide in another language, this is not the right departure.
